The Mind of Christ

The Holy Spirit teaches us all things pertaining to the word.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
John 14:26 NKJV

Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”  And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
Luke 24:44‭-‬45 NKJV

The Spirit teaches us the word, so that we might have the mind of Christ.

These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the MIND OF THE LORD  that he may instruct Him?” But we have the MIND OF CHRIST.
I Corinthians 2:13‭-‬16 NKJV

What does the Mind of Christ do? It teaches us obedience to his commandments.

LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU WHICH WAS ALSO IN CHRIST JESUS, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and  coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became OBEDIENT TO THE POINT OF DEATH, even the death of the cross.
Philippians 2:5‭-‬8 NKJV

I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, WITH THE MIND I myself SERVE THE LAW OF GOD, but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 7:25 NKJV

For those who live according to the flesh set their MINDS on the things of the FLESH, but those who  live according to the SPIRIT, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be SPIRITUALLY MINDED is LIFE AND PEACE. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the LAW OF GOD, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8:5‭-‬8 NKJV

So how else should the believer worship God and renew his mind? None other than allowing the Holy Spirit to teach us his words of truth and show us the mind of Christ.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Romans 12:2 NKJV

The Mind of Christ is always Lowliness (servanthood) and void of self exaltation and self gratification. CF Phil 2:5-8.

Be of the SAME MIND toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
Romans 12:16 NKJV

Therefore if there  is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being LIKE-MINDED, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be  done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in LOWLINESS OF MIND let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Philippians 2:1‭-‬4 NKJV

The Mind of Christ makes one abstain from sin and godlessness.

But you have not so LEARNED CHRIST, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your FORMER CONDUCT, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Ephesians 4:20‭-‬24 NKJV

The Mind of Christ sets us on heavenly (Spiritual) values, and not earthly (Carnal) values. CF Rom 8:5-8.

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. SET YOUR MIND on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who  is  our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Colossians 3:1‭-‬4 NKJV

The Mind of Christ appreciates the Mercy of God upon former Sons of disobedience.

For God has committed them all to DISOBEDIENCE, that He might have MERCY ON ALL. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! “For who has known the MIND OF THE LORD ? Or who has become His counselor?” “Or who has first given to Him And it shall be repaid to him?” For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
