Will Christians get demonized by simple Pagan gestures?

In Corinth, the temple feast was celebrated to commemorate Pagan gods. The Greeks believed that by consuming food offered to idols will cause the spirits of the gods to give them Power.

Hence when they converted to Christianity, many of them gets stumbled by these idol offered meat sold in the marketplace because they too believed that the evil idolatrous spirits will possess those who consume them.

Paul did not have a problem with the spiritual implications of that, but rather urge those who understands the Law of liberty to avoid consuming it in the presense of Christians who are weaker in faith.

That is the context of 1 Cor 8.

As for Rom 14, it is more pertaining to Jewish Christians who are still practicing their Kosher diet... and non Jewish brethrens ought to take care of their conscience.

Hence today, simple things like consuming food offered to idols or taking Yoga as a basic form of exercise does not have spiritual implications.

However, if one gets involved in deeper into occultic believes like fortune telling, astrology or Yoga Kundulini meditation, he is essentially inviting spirits to have a foothold over them.

The bible specifically warns against idolatry.

As I urged you when I went into Macedonia—remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith.

I Timothy 1:3‭-‬4 NKJV
